Instead of introducing myself on my 1st blog post, because c'mon who cares, we're here for the wedding porn....I will just jump right into my obsession.
Nothing inspires me like my grandparent's wedding photos from 1954. Black and white film images, raw emotion, an unstructured moment captured.
As such, I swoon over these images of JFK and Jackie's wedding from Newport RI in 1953. These photos are exquisite.

Fabulous resources to bring that vintage vibe to our modern weddings:
1. Birdcage veils from Sara Gabriel
this one is called Astyn

2. Vintage dresses with circle skirts from Dolly Couture
this one is called The Milan

Yum! Love these little confections.
And of course you need someone to capture it all....may I recommend the lovely Lisa Frechette, photographer extraordinaire?

Wow, Candice. You're something. Love the Kennedy photos too & the ideas for going vintage.

Woah! This is such an amazing post. My best friend is also getting married and I am planning to finalize one of the rental spaces for parties so that I can throw a nice bridal shower for her. It is going to be an amazing day for sure. Anyway, it was great coming across this post.
